Hi, we're Abby and Ken, and we are the founders of Solo’s Spot Adult Day Program.

We created Solo’s Spot because of our son, Solo. He is 12 years old and autistic, and like many parents, we've started thinking about the future—what happens when he turns 18?

That question stayed with us as well as the realization that there aren’t enough places where adults like Solo can go to feel safe, supported, and truly understood. That uncertainty turned into a mission.

Solo’s Spot was built to create the kind of future we want for our son—and for so many others. A place where neurodiverse adults are not just cared for but valued. A place where they can build independence, form real friendships, and be part of a community that sees their strengths.

This is more than a program. It’s personal. It’s about creating a safe, meaningful future—for Solo, and for every individual who walks through our doors.
